Hey there! I’m Kiara, the owner and baker behind Jay Cooks Bakery, a small-batch organic bakery in Wrenshall, MN.
My goal is simple: to create delicious baked goods that everyone can enjoy, including those who are dairy-free.
As someone who hasn’t been able to eat dairy for nearly 10 years, I turned that challenge into inspiration. I wanted to prove that dairy-free desserts can be just as indulgent, soft, and flavorful as traditional ones.
Of course, I still appreciate buttery, rich classics – so my husband is the official taste tester for all the dairy recipes!

All goods are homemade and produced in accordance with the Minnesota Cottage Food Law. These items are made in a home kitchen and not subject to state inspection.
I am not an allergen-free kitchen. There is always the risk of cross-contamination, so if you have a severe allergy I would advise against placing an order!
